Welcome to PicDoc! This Privacy Policy applies to the PicDoc mobile application (referred to as "the App").

We strongly believe in your fundamental right to privacy. We designed our App from the ground up to protect your sensitive data.

1. Information Collection and Use

All core functionalities of the App, including AI background removal, optical character recognition (OCR), and PDF generation, are performed 100% locally and offline directly on your device.

• Photos & Images: Any photo taken or selected from your gallery remains on your device. Our AI models analyze and process these pixels right in your device’s memory and do not send them to remote internet servers.
• Camera Access: Used exclusively locally for snapping photos or scanning documents in real-time.
• Storage Access: Used only to save your generated outputs (like the edited transparent PNGs, extracted Text lists, or PDF documents) locally in your own directories.

2. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to improve app quality and stability:

• Firebase Analytics: May collect app usage events, device and app identifiers, and approximate diagnostics information to help us understand feature usage and improve product decisions.
• Firebase Crashlytics: May collect crash logs, stack traces, device state, and app version information to help us identify and fix stability issues.

We do not use Google AdMob or Google Play Billing in the current version of the App.

No photos, documents, OCR text payloads, or generated PDF content are uploaded to our servers.

3. Security

Your data is physically secured simply because it never leaves your device. However, you are responsible for maintaining the physical security of your Android device and reviewing what other applications might have access to your local folders.

4. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy occasionally to reflect changes in legal or operational requirements. Any updates will be posted on this page.
